Wakefield end a wait going back to 1968, and Fury meets Joshua face to face

Joe Marler also picked three sporting stars for a Celebrity Traitors castle, and a short asked why the Bahrain Grand Prix is being held in Malaysia.

Six uploads, two big British sporting stories. The one people will remember came late on Saturday: "First Win Since 1968! | Warrington Wolves v Wakefield Trinity Highlights | Super League Grand Final". As the description puts it, Wakefield beat Warrington at Old Trafford to become Grand Final champions for the first time since 1968. Six hours after going up it had nearly 20,000 views and was already gathering them faster than anything else on the channel. Two short clips followed it, one of Sir Kevin Sinfield bringing out the trophy and one of Wakefield lifting it.

The week's most watched upload, though only just, came from the boxing ring. Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua finally went face to face ahead of their long-discussed fight in Cardiff. The comments are wary rather than giddy. Many say the fight comes years too late. Others wonder how long before it is off again, and one viewer asks how the billing fits after Daniel Dubois beat Joshua.

In between, Joe Marler, a finalist on Celebrity Traitors last year, picked three sporting stars he would want beside him in the castle. A short F1 explainer asked why the Bahrain Grand Prix is being held in Malaysia.

Overall it was a slower week than usual, with about 1,000 new subscribers. Among similar TV and streaming channels, BBC Sport sat near the bottom for views, while The Big Bang Theory and Prime Video AU & NZ had very big weeks.
