A firing pin that broke twice: Admin's PSA AK-102, two years in the making

The 5.56 rifle failed once on its first range trip and again in Flagstaff, and the review still passed 118,000 views in about thirteen hours.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Two years is a long time to sit on a rifle review, and Administrative Results explains why in the first minutes of "The Little Engine That Couldn't: PSA AK-102 5.56." The Palmetto State Armory AK in 5.56 broke its firing pin on its very first range trip. Copperhead USA replaced the part, a forced reset trigger went in, and the pin failed again at Prevail Training Center in Flagstaff. Palmetto State Armory offered to take the rifle back; the description notes, plainly, that he did not send it.

What follows is billed as a straight range report: a 100-yard group with 77-grain match ammunition, a Stealth Additive Works suppressor and a Primary Arms 3x prism, with the verdict that when it ran, it was a fun break from the AR-15. It went up Saturday and reached more than 118,000 views in about thirteen hours, a pace well beyond anything else on the channel right now.

The week opened in a different register. "Tactical Guy Instructor" is Admin in full parody mode, a character who promises the "fun and mentals of pistol tactics" in a non-permissive environment, and it remains the most watched upload of the week. The comments have become a game of finishing his jargon: viewers keep circling back to the workspace he forgot to mention, the sped-up running cut, and background music that sends people straight back to their PS2 days. Between those two came a straight-pull Beretta BRX1 Ranch Rifle doing fast doubles and a B&T TP9 fitted with a forced reset lever.

Around that one fast start, the channel has been running slower than its usual pace, with about a million views over the week and subscribers edging toward 975,000. Among the military and weapons channels nearest its size it sits in the middle for views gained, while Max Afterburner had by far the biggest week and Military Madness ran about twice its own usual pace.
