"This Game Didn't Go as Planned", and Warm Land's viewers are watching her finger
A short credited to @lukeandalexis1 became the clips channel's biggest new upload of the week, and its small comment section is busy replaying one moment.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 756,437 views a day, 11 times a normal first day on this channel (69,714).
This Game Didn’t Go as Planned 😭
What went wrong in the game? Warm Land's title only offers a crying emoji, but the comment section has a theory, and it comes down to a finger. The most liked comment says she was moving the whole time, and several others make the same point in fewer words. One viewer has a different fix entirely: the hot water should have been turned all the way up.
The short passed 578,000 views in its first fourteen hours. That is a lot for Warm Land, a channel whose about page promises "warm and emotional moments" and whose new shorts usually close their first day well short of that. Like most of what the channel posts, the clip is not its own: the description credits @lukeandalexis1.
It was not the only clip moving. "The Worst Kick Ever 😭", posted the same day, passed 200,000 views in twelve hours, also far ahead of the channel's usual start. Earlier in the week the uploads stayed closer to home, with a piano game played during class and a whole class with "a genius plan".
The two hits arrive while the channel as a whole is running well below its usual daily pace, so this week the crowd came for particular clips rather than for the whole catalog. Nearby in the same corner of clip channels, War Veterans and AFV Shorts are both busier than usual.
