A console for every first letter, part two, and 157,000 new subscribers for JBIN CLIPS YT
Two days after it passed 600,000, the quiz-and-verdict channel has added roughly 40,000 more, and its daily views are running at about twice their usual pace.
Why this story? The channel went from 484,000 to 641,000 subscribers this week.
Nearly a third bigger. A week ago JBIN CLIPS YT had about 484,000 subscribers; it now has 641,000. Only two days have passed since it crossed 600,000, and the count has kept climbing.
The short still carrying most of that weight is "The First Letter of Your Name is Your Video Game Console! |Pt.2|". The label in its title marks it as a sequel, and it has passed two and a half million views, far more than anything the channel has posted since. The premise is the whole charm. Find your initial and the video hands you a machine. Some viewers end up with the console they grew up on, others with one they never owned.
The uploads that followed play the same game with new prizes: a pet for your first letter, an American football team for your birth year, and the cartoon for your birth year, the newest of them and already the best performer among the follow-ups. A how-to on making a butter squishy without wax breaks the pattern, a reminder that the channel's own description promises "interesting facts" as well as interactive content.
Views have kept pace with the subscriber count. Daily viewing is now running at roughly double the channel's usual level. That suggests the people who came for the console verdict are staying around for the cartoons and the football teams too.
Among clips channels of a similar size, Vellero is also running ahead of its usual pace, while Shiba Diva is a little quieter than normal.
