Nearly a billion views, and a biker clip that barely moved, for INCIDENT TV
Two clips went up on October 1 with the same three skulls in their titles: one is closing in on 16 million views, the other has not reached 100,000.
Why this story? The channel went from 230,000 to 277,000 subscribers this week.
INCIDENT TV is about 11 million views short of a billion, a gap smaller than what the channel draws in a single day. Its daily views have been running above 30 million, a pace that sets it well apart from other clips channels of its size.
It is a clips channel, and it says so. Its about page promises "real-world incidents, unfiltered chaos," and explains that the footage is curated and reshaped through editing and storytelling for entertainment and commentary. The cameras belong to other people. The channel's work is choosing the moment and cutting it short.
Not every pick lands the same way. "They Had No Clue! 💀💀💀" and "Biker Had The Scariest Ride Ever! 💀💀💀" went up on the same day with nearly identical packaging. The first is now near 16 million views. The second is still in the tens of thousands. Maybe the difference sits in the first few seconds of each clip, where a viewer decides whether to keep watching.
The subscriber run that began with firefighters and a giant fish, as we reported here, has not slowed. The channel now has 277,000 subscribers, 47,000 more than a week ago. "Firefighters Save a Curious Kid! ❤️" remains its biggest recent clip, past 22 million views. "Hero Girl Saved Everyone! 👏❤️" has had a quieter life, in the hundreds of thousands.
Among clips and compilation channels close to its size, CaptainPepe and Caught! In Action are also having busy stretches, while WONDD and Grunt Style are running below their usual pace.
The about page lists footage submissions next to copyright requests as reasons to get in touch, and that says a lot about how this channel works: nearly every one of those billion views started on someone else's camera.
