Firefighters, a storm and a giant fish grow INCIDENT TV by a fifth
Three clips from the past week now have tens of millions of views between them, while two others posted in the same days barely moved.
Why this story? The channel went from 226,000 to 272,000 subscribers this week.
"Firefighters Save a Curious Kid! ❤️" has passed 20 million views since it went up on October 2, and it sums up the week INCIDENT TV just had. The clips channel collects footage filmed by other people: accidents, rescues and strange roadside moments. In seven days it added about 46,000 subscribers, a fifth of everything it had a week earlier.
The firefighter clip had help. The storm video "They Had No Clue! 💀💀💀" is closing in on 15 million, and "Cops Pull Up For a Giant Fish! 🤣🔥🐟" has gone past 8 million, both of them climbing quickly from the start, as we reported here. Between them, the three pushed the channel to roughly twice its usual daily views.
Not every upload went that way. "Hero Girl Saved Everyone! 👏❤️" stayed in the hundreds of thousands. The motorcycle clip "Biker Had The Scariest Ride Ever! 💀💀💀", posted on the same day as the storm video, has hardly been watched at all. Here, a clip either reaches millions or barely gets noticed.
Most compilation channels of a similar size are having an ordinary week. WONDD is the other one running well above its usual pace.
The channel's about page promises "unfiltered chaos," but the clip that drew the most viewers this week is a rescue.
