Eleven hours old, and the spiked-hair short is already moving faster than anything else Vellero posted. "THEY TURNED HIS SPIKED HAIR INTO BRAIDS IN THE MIDDLE OF A PARKING LOT" is a classic of the house style: an all-caps title that starts with "THEY," a public place, and a gadget doing its trick in one pass. Two shorts from the same Monday run right behind it. One keeps a dog from climbing onto the wheel on the highway. The other wrecks a kitchen and wipes it clean.
Fifteen uploads went up in all, and parking lots are almost a recurring set: a portable blender gets its demo in one too. The week's most watched short was a crown of pink rollers, billed in its description as a route to bouncy curls without heat. It sits a little above 23,000 views.
The channel as a whole ran slower than usual, at about two thirds of its normal daily pace, though it still picked up close to 3,000 subscribers a day. Most of its neighbors among clip and compilation channels were below their usual pace too. The exceptions were JBIN CLIPS YT, which added about 150,000 subscribers in seven days, and Videos that make your day better, which had a far bigger week than anyone else in the group.
