Finally found this gem 😂
The broom kept missing. As viewers describe it, that is the whole joke of "Finally found this gem 😂", a short on WOW Moments that has been watched close to four million times in a little over a day. The channel is a clips account that recuts other people's footage and adds narration and effects. A new short there usually draws around 50,000 views on its first day.
The title gives nothing away, so the comments do the explaining. A woman swings a broom, and a man sidesteps it. He then kicks it out of her hands and turns to look back at her, and that look is the moment many viewers single out. Others save their praise for the ending, where the last dodge repeats the first one. Several call that callback the best part. One viewer writes out what they say are the names of the moves called out in Chinese, from a plain side step to the "shivering bear". Plenty more say they understood none of the language and all of the joke.
The most liked reference goes back to Kung Fu Hustle, Stephen Chow's 2004 comedy, and its fearsome Landlady. One commenter says she has finally met her match. Another turns martial arts into "marital arts". In its first day the comment section ran nearly 28 times busier than on the channel's usual first day.
The clip was not alone. Two shorts posted the next day, "Best friends spotted 🙌💯🤣" and "How to make new friends easily 😭", also started far ahead of the channel's usual pace, though neither came close to the broom. One of the newest uploads is titled "Survival instincts kicked in 😭🙏", which might just as well describe the man with the broom.
