Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Harvest Nights: VOD 1 - MODDED MINECRAFT!

Among the let's-play and variety channels nearest its size, Two Much Grian sat in the middle of the pack this week, sixth for views gained, while KingWoolz Games and MoistCr1TiKaL Gaming had the big numbers. For most of the seven days Grian's second channel was quiet, running well below its usual pace, and then one upload arrived on Saturday.

"Harvest Nights: VOD 1 - MODDED MINECRAFT!" is what the description calls a "VOD lite" of Harvest Nights, a new modded Minecraft server from Gem, billed as a cozy horror that runs through October. Within nine hours it had passed 227,000 views.

The comment section, though, is barely about the modpack. It is about the opening minute, where Grian uses Jimmy's Cameo account to get Jimmy to record messages for invented requesters, and one name in particular. Viewers cannot get over Jimmy falling for "Ben Dover," and several point out that he did catch Grian on an earlier attempt. Others replay a jump scare deep in the episode that sent Jimmy reeling back from his microphone, and a near miss with a creeper that ends with Gem threatening revenge on Grian's things. A few have already cast Grian and Jimmy as a pair of anti-magic hillbillies living at the edge of the forest.

Behind it, last week's "Playing Minecraft Golf on Hermitcraft" with Cubfan135 keeps ticking along, and the summer's "My Shift at Midnight with GIGGS" has passed 1.29 million.
