Fourteen planner apps, and a comment section asking where TickTick went
Tool Finder's new roundup runs from calm, mindful planners to AI ones that schedule the day, ordered by intensity, Griply first and Motion last.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Best Daily Planner Apps 2026: 14 Tested, Simple to AI
Fourteen hours after it went up, "Best Daily Planner Apps 2026: 14 Tested, Simple to AI" had already passed 5,000 views, more than anything else Tool Finder posted over the week. The list climbs a ladder on purpose: it opens with gentler planners like Griply and Structured, passes familiar names such as Trello, Notion, Todoist and Evernote, and ends with Sunsama, Akiflow, Reclaim, Kai and Motion, the tools that plan your day for you.
The comments mostly ask about the one that is not there. Several viewers want to know why TickTick missed the cut, and one counts fifteen apps where the title says fourteen. Another asks whether Motion is worth paying for over Reclaim for someone who works alone, and a Notion loyalist casts a one-line vote.
The planner theme ran all week. Two days earlier, "Your To-Do List Isn't a Planner. Here's What Is" set out the difference and split planners into three kinds: AI, mindful and family. A shorter "Best AI Daily Planner Apps" followed the long list on the same day. Meeting tools filled the start of the week, with a two-part Top 3 of AI meeting assistants and a Fireflies AI vs Fellow comparison.
The older video still doing steady work is the Microsoft Copilot explainer, nearly two weeks old and close to 65,000 views, which walks through the new Home, Code and Autopilot areas. Overall the channel ran slower than its usual pace, and subscribers held at 452,000. Among the software and tech company channels around its size, Tool Finder added the third most views over the week, behind Wes Roth and Microsoft Azure.
