Variable aperture and a vapor chamber: the iPhone 18 Pro film holds Apple UK's shelf

No new uploads went up, so September's launch films did the work, with the foldable iPhone Duo and a John Cena trailer close behind.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

What does Apple's British channel show its viewers between launches? Mostly September. Nothing new went up over the week, and the video people keep opening is "Introducing the new iPhone 18 Pro," a month old and past 84,000 views. It is the classic product film: the A20 Pro chip cooled by a new vapor chamber, a camera with variable aperture, longer battery life, and the Siri AI assistant Apple bills as more personal than before.

Right behind it sits "Introducing the new iPhone Duo," the film for the foldable iPhone, posted the same day. Its pitch is the screen: an inner display the description puts at half again the size of the 18 Pro Max's, with apps side by side and a titanium frame.

The third video is the odd one out. "Matchbox The Movie — Official Trailer | Apple TV" is more than ten weeks old and still drawing a steady trickle. It casts John Cena as an undercover CIA agent who drags his childhood friends, Jessica Biel among them, into a chase around the world, with Sam Hargrave, the stunt veteran behind Netflix's Extraction, among the names in the tags.

Subscribers held at 484,000. Among the tech company channels around its size, most are moving slower than usual too, with Microsoft Developer and Microsoft Azure well off their normal pace, so Apple UK's pause is in good company.
