Clear water lets Ryan see the bottom of Whiteswan Lake, which somehow makes the crossing feel eerier rather than more reassuring. The SHERPs roll straight off the beach and into the lake, giving The Story Till Now's latest adventure a remarkably smooth start. The swamp has other ideas.
In "Can Anything Actually Stop a SHERP?", Shaun and Ryan join Dave, better known as Ostacruiser, in northern Saskatchewan. A sandy-beach lunch separates the open-water outing from an old trail tangled with logs, deadfall and cut stumps. Dave identifies the particular catch behind the title's question: getting hung up on a stump can halt the progress of these otherwise formidable machines.
The episode belongs to a sponsored SHERP series. It has drawn roughly 51,000 views and is the channel's busiest video right now. Viewers are discussing the Ostacruiser collaboration, the difficulty of filming with a drone while navigating that terrain, and whether an outboard or water jets could make lake crossings quicker. Shaun's own lasting souvenir is less technical: the swamp mud's unforgettable smell.
Two uploads arrived this week, with the Short "SHERP Don't Get Stuck!" accompanying the longer adventure. The older "We Took Old Mining Trails Where No One Goes Anymore" remains active too, approaching a quarter of a million views, while October's "I Took My Sherp Where No Other Vehicles Can Go" adds another chapter for anyone catching up.
Subscribers held steady, and daily viewing is slightly below its usual level. Nearby off-road channel Ronny Dahl also has a steady subscriber count, while DirtFish is enjoying substantially stronger-than-usual daily viewing. Shaun has something beyond vehicles taking shape as well: at the start of the new episode, he announces a monthly print magazine, "TSTN: A Journal".

@badvector4314See it on YouTubeWatching this reminds me of watching one of those nature shows where bull elephants are tromping through the jungle.
@danieldonegan6914See it on YouTubeShaun; soon as you got a Sherp I've been waiting for you to do a trip with Ostacruiser; it did not disappoint! Hopefully this is just the first of many collabs with you and him

Watching the Sherp crawl cut stumps on a trail that grew shut in six years shows why clubs need to keep trails cleared. Going from that clear White Swan Lake to a swamp that smelled that bad in one afternoon makes for quite a day.
@livingmyalaskaSee it on YouTubeIts funny how dreams change. I've been very happy in my current dream of traveling the country in my built 4runner. The clock on my new sherpa dream just started.

@TODDATVOffRoadSee it on YouTubeI was waiting the moment on lake when you start fishing from sherp
@topqualityfi8216See it on YouTubeAnother great adventure I do like the design and cab of the newer Sherp . If you can attach a small outboard to the back would make water crossing a little faster
@k2mountainmanSee it on YouTubewould go faster in open water if you had water jets to aid in moving
