Agility testing on the new Nomad! So playful for such a capable bike…

A picnic table, a black pipe and a wooden ramp are manageable enough. The large red gym ball is another matter. Danny MacAskill's April Nomad agility test includes the tumbles as well as the balancing acts, and it is supplying most of the channel's daily viewing despite an empty upload calendar.

In "Agility testing on the new Nomad! So playful for such a capable bike…", Danny hops over the pipe, rides onto the table and negotiates the ramp in both directions, including a backwards approach followed by a pivot at the top. The ball supplies a rather less predictable surface. This is a bike demonstration with the unsuccessful attempts left in, not just a procession of clean landings.

The Short is approaching six million views and currently accounts for roughly three-quarters of the channel's daily views. That makes it a different centre of attention from the gate-clearing Vala clip we reported on last month, which continues to draw views too.

Without posting anything new, Danny added a thousand subscribers over the past seven days. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level, though there is movement across very different kinds of riding: September's Bosch-supported "Danny Macaskill Endless Light in Norway - Bosch eBike Systems" continues to attract viewers to the granite slabs around Narvik. Beside that expansive landscape, an obstacle course in a field makes a neatly compact showcase for Danny's control, and the occasional limits of it.
