Brysen Wright chooses Miami and brings college football a year closer

Overtime SZN's commitment Short pairs Bfye's announcement with a move into the 2027 recruiting class and contested-catch highlights.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 312,476 views a day, 10 times a normal first day on this channel (31,079).

BFYE TO MIAMI 🙌🔥BFYE TO MIAMI 🙌🔥

"Go Canes." Brysen Wright keeps his closing message short, but Overtime SZN's announcement carries two developments: the receiver known as Bfye has committed to Miami and reclassified from the 2028 recruiting class to 2027.

That gives an answer to the Miami-leaning predictions we covered earlier, as we reported here. It also moves his expected arrival in college football forward a year, a change the narrator greets with mixed feelings about losing him from OT7 early.

The Short drew about 148,000 views in eight hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for this format. In the comments, some viewers are pledging their allegiance to Miami along with Wright, while others are imagining what the Hurricanes' receiving group could become.

The announcement comes with evidence of what makes him a recruiting attraction: contested catches in high school games and seven-on-seven football, plus a clip of NFL receiver George Pickens praising his skills. Wright supplies his own assessment in a postgame interview: "Best in the world, y'all know that, though."

Overtime SZN also displays a five-star recruiting graphic. The narrator's enthusiasm is grander still, but Wright's own sign-off stays with his college choice: "Go Canes."
