Skip Bayless isn't defending Dallas this time. The lifelong Cowboys supporter arrives on First Take with a sweeping complaint about the team, its defense and the owner making the decisions.
"We're a bad team with no heart, no guts, no soul..." he says, reserving his sharpest criticism for Jerry Jones's work as general manager. Stephen A. Smith, rather than welcoming the conversion quietly, reminds Bayless how long he has been making his own case against Dallas: "You're a little bit late to the party, Skip Bayless. That's what the problem is right now."
That familiar exchange has drawn more than 200,000 views in ten hours on NFL on ESPN, well beyond the channel's usual full first day.
