Gary Neville names Man Utd's worst post-Ferguson signing over padel

David Ornstein's Truth Or Padel also put Danny Drinkwater on court, asking whether he regrets his move to Chelsea.

Padel did the talking. The Athletic FC put out nine uploads over the week, and the one moving fastest has David Ornstein, the outlet's transfer specialist, trying to pry a verdict out of Gary Neville between rallies: who is the worst signing Manchester United have made since Sir Alex Ferguson left? Neville's own pick stays for the video to reveal, but the comment section did not wait for him. Jadon Sancho is the name most viewers land on, with Andre Onana and Alexis Sanchez close behind, and a few readers step in to defend Marouane Fellaini's effort or to point out that Donny van de Beek has somehow been forgotten. Five days in, it has passed 400,000 views.

Truth Or Padel came back two days later with Danny Drinkwater, who won the Premier League with Leicester in 2016 before his much-discussed move to Chelsea, and Ornstein asked him whether he regrets it.

Between the padel courts, Jon Mackenzie and Alex Barker sat down with José Mourinho, asking whether the old framework suits Real Madrid's squad. Deco built his perfect midfielder out of Lampard, Davids and Zidane, and a short looked at how Brighton found the Nigerian teenager Zadok Yohanna.

Daily views ran below the channel's usual level, a dip shared by most of the club and league channels nearby, with Stretford Paddock and Brighton's own channel well under their norms. ITV Sport and Pêche Football were the ones having a big week.
