Four hours after it went up, Day 4 of Best of Friends already had a few thousand views. It belongs to a seven-day charity event that Skippy T is streaming daily with Branzy, Jay and Dan, all of it raising money for St. Jude, the children's research hospital in Memphis. Each day brings a different game: Meccha Chameleon to open, then R.E.P.O., then Minecraft, then Super Battle Golf.

The week's most watched upload is the usual kind of Skippy T video, though. "Minecraft, But Every Mob Fights Each Other" turns the whole world into a free-for-all, and it passed 46,000 views in three days. The description is refreshingly candid: the run uses an in-house mod called 'Skip Fixed It' that boosts ender pearl luck, raises blaze rod drops and brings structures closer, because the point is the laughs, not a legitimate run. Viewers latched onto one lonely spider in a stronghold, the only creature seemingly sitting out the brawl, and several have written it a little tragic backstory. Others pitched sequel titles or recognized a Carmen Sandiego reference.

Three weeks on, "Minecraft, But Every Minute I Lose An Update" is still pulling viewers in, close to a quarter of a million views now. The channel's daily views sit near their usual level, and about a thousand subscribers joined over the week. Among the Minecraft channels nearest in size, BeckBroJack Movies had by far the biggest week, while most others ran below their norm. Skippy T, as ever, held steady.
