I Got Minecraft's God Trident
Freshlol's server has a God Trident, and only one player can ever craft it. In "I Got Minecraft's God Trident," the self-described friendly neighbourhood Minecraft YouTuber sets out to be that player. The description says he will use overpowered methods to get there first, and that a ban is waiting if he fails.
Fifteen hours after it went up, the video had passed 300,000 views, more than ten times what a new upload here usually manages in a full first day. It is his second big opening in about a week, and a quicker one than "I Mastered Minecraft Combat," the Aximity-trained arc that is still adding views and has come close to 700,000. The uploads in between were PvP shorts and a training stream, so the trident is the payoff of a week spent practicing.
Several commenters say they had asked for a God Trident video, and one sets out the Freshlol formula: hunted early, grinding for most of the video, picking up kills along the way, reaching the goal, then banning people with the prize. Others point to a trap that goes badly wrong, a Star Wars "high ground" line, and Ven, credited as venthatguy15, fighting alongside Fresh. A player many call Jaden goes down within seconds, and viewers note that he met the same fate in a recent Wemmbu video.
The description says the server is unscripted but some scenes were staged. Also in the cast are RunitKidd, MightNotBeWaffle, BarrieMan1, TheBullfrogGamer and tmzclutch. The week's gains leave the channel less than twenty thousand subscribers short of a million.
