LaFerrari, P1 and 918 Spyder: Seen Through Glass revisits the Holy Trinity

Sam's only upload of the week drew close to 50,000 views in its first day, and its comment section seems to have been expecting it somewhere else.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"Revisiting The Holy Trinity! LaFerrari vs P1 vs 918 Spyder" puts the three hybrid hypercars of the 2010s side by side on Seen Through Glass, the channel Sam Moores started in 2014 as a hobby, built on the idea of a life with cars rather than a life about cars. Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche all launched their answers within a couple of years of each other, and car people have been arguing about them ever since.

The comments carry on that argument. One camp swears by the LaFerrari's sound, another calls the P1 the most timeless shape of the three, and the most liked note laments a P1 with fewer than 300 kilometers on the clock, bought to sit in a collection. A cluster of viewers also hints, with a wink, that the video turned up somewhere else first, on another channel, before landing here. A Belgian viewer spotted the location as Waregem, his hometown.

It was the week's only upload, and it went fast: nearly 50,000 views on day one. Behind it, the nine-day-old Caterham video, which makes a case for the little British roadster as a 2027 buy, keeps ticking along, and a month-old look at a 'cheap' 996-generation 911 is still finding people.

The channel as a whole ran a touch above its usual daily pace, while most of the car channels near its size, Tedward and Dennis Collins among them, were well below theirs. Edison Motors was the one neighbor busier than normal.
