Coffee Walk 427 finds a saddle on saddle 1964 Corvette Coupe

Dennis Collins' one upload of the week drew close to 200,000 views on its first day, and he opened its description with hard family news.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

One Corvette, one episode. Dennis Collins posted a single video this week, Coffee Walk Episode 427, "FOUND: Saddle on Saddle 1964 Corvette Coupe!" It went up on its usual Friday slot and drew close to 200,000 views in its first day. It now sits above a quarter of a million.

The car is a second-generation Corvette, the C2 that Chevrolet built from 1963 to 1967, finished in saddle outside and saddle inside. That generation has a loyal crowd under the video, and one viewer calls it the best Corvette there is. The most common request in the comments is less about this car than about the ones before it: people would like to see more of the cars Dennis rescues once they are finished.

The description opens on something more personal than a barn find. Dennis writes that his three-year-old granddaughter has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor on her spine and is about to begin chemotherapy, and he asks viewers to keep her in their prayers. Many of the people writing under the video answer him directly.

Older finds are still doing their share. "SAVED: Entombed 1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback S-Code 390!!!" has passed two million views, and the 1969 Camaro Z11 pace car pulled from under a barn keeps drawing visitors too.

The channel as a whole ran at about a third of its usual daily pace, and new subscribers came in more slowly. Among the car channels close to its size, it sat fourth for views gained over the week. Pushing Pistons had by far the biggest week in the group, and Sparks Motors ran above its usual pace.
