Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The BANNED Halo Voice Line 😳

PARTYCHAT drew the largest weekly audience among its nearby gaming-commentary peers, with ENDYMIONtv also having a substantial week. The channel's particular attraction was a familiar voice delivering something players never got to hear.

In "The BANNED Halo Voice Line 😳", Jeff Steitzer recalls dialogue recorded for Halo's multiplayer announcer but left out of the games. One line he declines to repeat. Another, he explains, was a Dick Cheney reference intended to play on rare occasions when someone shot a teammate. Then he supplies the full announcer delivery: "Cheney Mania!"

That interview excerpt has reached roughly 712,000 views, comfortably the most-watched of PARTYCHAT's new uploads. Viewers are discussing which friendly-fire situation would have triggered it, whether modders might restore it, and how such a reward could encourage precisely the wrong behavior in a team game.

Steitzer also supplies the channel's next-busiest video right now, "Remember these Halo call outs? 🥹", a recall test posted just before this week's uploads. His smaller new clip, "Meeting the Halo voice at Best Buy", trades multiplayer memories for a story about being recognized while shopping.

Elsewhere, Jessica Rhodes pitches a sequel name for 007: First Light, while Ned Luke objects to the long-running "before GTA 6" meme. Older interview material has momentum too: John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff's account of a Javier pronunciation that stayed in Red Dead Redemption remains among the channel's busiest clips.

Subscribers grew modestly, adding about 1,000 over the week. Viewing is livelier: the channel's daily views are nearly triple their usual level, with both Steitzer excerpts continuing to draw audiences.

What viewers say

I knew of this before but hearing him say it is a real treat. Was it tied to shotgun friendly fire specifically?
