Doctor Doom brings a fake Avengers spoiler to GeekHeavy

An LA Comic Con costume clip tops three new uploads, alongside a Ryan Coogler lookalike question and a homemade GTA alternative.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

If This Happens in Avengers Doomsday I’m done 💀

Doctor Doom's armor has an extra attachment: a Spider-Man dummy positioned to look impaled on his gauntlet. GeekHeavy approaches the cosplayer at LA Comic Con and jokingly calls the effect a spoiler for Avengers: Doomsday. It is convention costume ingenuity, not footage from the film.

"If This Happens in Avengers Doomsday I'm done 💀" was the week's most-watched new upload, reaching about 40,000 views. Viewers are inspecting the costume's smaller details, asking about the objects on Doom's belt and comparing his claws to Black Panther's. The clip also remains the channel's busiest video by daily views.

The other two uploads take very different routes through GeekHeavy's "Random Geekiness" remit. "Ryan Coogler Got a Twin Brother?!" asks whether the creator resembles the director of Black Panther and Sinners, rather than announcing a newly discovered sibling. "..So I Played 6 GTA Games Instead (We Have GTA 6 at Home Edition)" builds its premise around playing six other Grand Theft Auto games as a make-do alternative. That newest upload has had a modest opening.

Subscribers held steady, while the channel added roughly 107,000 views over the week. Today's viewing is well below its usual daily level. Among nearby gaming-commentary channels, ENDYMIONtv had a much busier week, while Larry Bundy Jr drew a smaller weekly audience than GeekHeavy.

Beyond the new uploads, the NPC Show interview with Kellen Goff continues to draw viewers. Its appeal is unusually specific: the actor behind both Funtime Freddy and Glamrock Freddy explains finding the latter's voice, working with Scott Cawthon and encountering the Five Nights at Freddy's fandom.
