Liam Delap came through Manchester City's academy. At the City Ground he scored twice against them, and the Sky commentator had his line ready after the second: "The day that Delap arrived for Nottingham Forest."

The highlights move quickly. Five minutes in, Jair Cunha takes the ball off Josko Gvardiol, walks it into the box and scores, "with his first for the club," as the commentary notes. By the 17th minute Delap has driven through City's defence for the second, and "the number 19 has raised the roof."

Cunha then turns defender, blocking Erling Haaland at close range before half-time. City's reply is the best goal of the clip: Rayan Cherki's first-time strike into the top corner, which draws "You will not see better this weekend or most other weekends." Forest settle it on the break in the 73rd minute, Morgan Gibbs-White setting up Delap to fire into the roof of the net. It was Forest's first home win of the season, and the final shot belongs to Glasner, running the length of the touchline.

The video passed 930,000 views within eight hours, several times the channel's usual full first day, and its comment section has filled faster still. Delap's journey through former clubs is the main topic, including a note of goodwill from an Ipswich supporter, alongside plenty of talk about Glasner's sprint and a joke that Delap and Haaland swapped bodies for the night.

It led a busy Saturday on the channel: Martin Ødegaard's winner against Hull, which keeps Arsenal top into the international break, and Noah Okafor's goal 97 seconds after coming on at Leeds also drew big audiences. Sky gave Glasner's celebration a clip of its own.
