The bench debate has changed. After questioning Estêvão's unused place at Anfield, George Benson is discussing his performance against Manchester United and reports of an improved Chelsea contract.

That update, "ESTÊVÃO NEW CHELSEA CONTRACT 😱 | LAVIA HAS ARRIVED! | MARTINEZ RETURN!", drew about 89,000 views, the largest audience among his eleven uploads this week. Benson relays Alonso's account of telling Estêvão after the Tottenham game that he would start against United. The conversation has moved from whether to use him to what he can bring.

There is plenty happening around him, too. Benson highlights Morgan Rogers' attacking contribution and Roméo Lavia's composure, then connects Chelsea's improved possession with their defending: "When you look better with the ball, usually you look better defensively as well."

The goalkeeper decision gives viewers something specific to debate. Benson favours Mike Penders for Sunderland, and several commenters argue for giving him another opportunity rather than rushing Emiliano Martínez back. Others pick out the on-screen graphics showing which news items are coming next.

By the weekend, the Sunderland starting-XI preview had become the channel's busiest video for daily views. A separate Caicedo update and Benson's questioning of Thomas Tuchel's decision to leave Cole Palmer out of England's squad also carry momentum.

Subscribers increased over the week, although the channel's daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Nearby football channel Rory Jennings drew a similar weekly audience and added the same number of subscribers. For Benson, the latest selection questions now sit alongside something more encouraging: a full upload devoted to the midfield control he sees in Lavia.

Feel like we need to change to the 4231 in order to get estavao in the team. He has looked his best when linking up with palmer, remember palmer was playing much deeper than usual against utd.
