  1. 0:05Sur Ronster ends his weekly Saturday upload schedule after six uninterrupted years.
  2. 1:31Each video consumes the week, with stressful Friday all-nighters leading into the Saturday deadline.
  3. 4:00He rejects lowering video quality or outsourcing editing because the edit is part of his artistic work.
  4. 5:56He is staying on YouTube, switching to uploads on the first Saturday of each month.
  5. 8:29The next video is scheduled for the first Saturday of December.

Why not hand the editing to someone else? For Sur Ronster, that would mean giving away part of what makes the videos his.

"For me, that's like handing the paintbrush to someone else to finish your painting," he says in "I'm Done." The title sounds like a farewell, but the announcement is more specific: his six-year run of posting every Saturday is over. The channel isn't.

Speaking from an ocean-facing balcony, still wearing his full-face helmet and goggles, he describes a schedule in which each video swallowed the week. Friday nights became stressful, sleepless pushes toward the next upload. "So every Saturday, it feels like a ticking time bomb," he says.

His answer isn't to lower his standards or surrender the edit. It's to publish on the first Saturday of each month, giving himself more room to make the longer videos he wants to make.

The change follows a string of travel uploads taking him through London, Paris, India, Nepal, the UAE and South Africa. A closing montage brings together custom builds, wind-turbine climbs and international trips, a reminder of how much those Saturday appointments have held.

In the comments, viewers describe the weekly uploads as a weekend ritual, with some comparing them to Saturday-morning cartoons. Others emphasize the distinction the title initially obscures: fewer videos, not a permanent goodbye.

Sur Ronster says the next upload will arrive on the first Saturday of December.
