The Polaris RZR lasts about one jump. CboysTV tore out its moto track and its rally track, rebuilt both and blended them into a single course, and the first session on it ends with a side-by-side limping off on a broken axle. "Axle down," comes the verdict.
After weeks of treehouses and pranks, "Testing Our New Rally Track!" puts the machines back in charge, and it drew about 1.5 million views since yesterday. The lineup is very Cboys: a Ram TRX the crew suspects already has a bent frame, Polaris side-by-sides and a beat-up blue Subaru WRX.
The Subaru gets the hardest education. Evan takes Peyton over the jumps at first, then lands one so hard that the stock seat and the roof both find his back and neck. "That thing is five times as violent as any of the other jumps I've hit," he says. Peyton's quiet ride-along turns out to be a favorite with viewers, many of whom ask to see him on camera more often.
Then comes a jump of a different scale. Two weeks later, professional off-road racer Andrew Carlson arrives with his Pro 2 truck ("It's a 750 horse Ford," he says) to look at a 120-foot dirt gap. Before anything with four wheels tries it, Jesse Hahne checks wind and trajectory on a phone app, and two dirt bikes go first to find the speed the truck will need. Hahne admits he thought he was about to come up short: "I'm going to be honest, I thought I was casing."
The video opens with the channel's own e-bike giveaway, and its description carries a sponsored promotion for a gas-cashback app. That description also promises a softer ending: the crew heading to CJ's wedding with an old Chevy C10 pickup as a surprise gift. In the comments, viewers who have followed the Minnesota friends since their teenage videos talk about watching them get married.
