0:10CJ lays out the rules: two teams, a $10,000 budget and 48 hours to build a treehouse.
2:47The combine is explained: hammer five nails, cut plywood with a jigsaw, climb a tree and tie a rope.
3:26A foot race sets the tryout order, and Ken gets hit in the calf by Ryan's swinging hammer.
5:04The timed tryouts begin, with Evan struggling with a mini hammer and Ryan dropping his before the climb.
13:57Foremen Gavin and Big Wrench race trucks towing trailers around a drift track for first pick.
17:32The draft happens, and a coin toss assigns one team the woods and the other the farm.

Nobody gets drafted for free. Before CboysTV's two treehouse crews lift a single board, every builder has to run a combine: five nails into a beam, a straight cut through plywood with a jigsaw, then a climb up a tree to tie off a rope.

"Everyone's always had the childhood dream of building a baller treehouse," CJ says at the start of "CboysTV Tree House Challenge!" The dream comes with rules: two teams, a $10,000 budget and 48 hours to build. Gavin and Big Wrench are named foremen, and they get to choose their crews.

The tryouts go about as smoothly as anything at the Cboys' place. A foot race to set the running order ends with Ken taking a hammer to the calf, swinging from Ryan's belt. Evan fights a miniature hammer and leaves a crooked line through the plywood. Ryan drops his hammer before the climb. Ben, eyeing the tree, makes a late confession: "Dude, I might be afraid of heights!"

Then the foremen settle first pick the way this channel settles most things: pickup trucks towing trailers around a drift track. The race is what the comments keep returning to. Big Wrench going off script is the most quoted moment, and plenty of viewers want a second round. Others have turned building inspector. They note how much of the budget seems to have gone on trim rather than insulation, a fair point for a treehouse in Minnesota. One viewer, who asked for a treehouse competition under an earlier video, is now enjoying being right.

About 1.7 million views arrived since yesterday, after a stretch built around e-bike golf carts and a flying Tesla golf cart. Here the machinery mostly stays parked, apart from the trucks. A coin toss sends one crew to the woods and the other to the farm, and the hammers finally come out.

With that blown budget you'd think they'd have insulation in their tree house in Minnesota
