Ebenezer | Official Trailer 2 (2026 Movie) - Johnny Depp, Ian McKellen, Rupert Grint, Sam Claflin
Paramount Pictures has put out the second trailer for Ebenezer, and it reached nearly nine million views in its first fifteen hours. The channel's videos usually start far more quietly, so this one opened at a scale of its own.
The pitch is in the description: Johnny Depp is Ebenezer Scrooge, "the name you know, the story you don't." The director is Ti West, best known for the horror films X, Pearl and MaXXXine, and that background shows in what viewers talk about. A popular thread says the trailer leans into the ghost-story side of A Christmas Carol, and another picks out the moment Scrooge screams at his younger self.
The most talked-about shot is a bed. Many viewers point out that Depp gets pulled into one, just as he did in A Nightmare on Elm Street, the 1984 horror film that was his first screen role. The rest of the cast gives the comments plenty to work with too: Ian McKellen, Rupert Grint, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, Andrea Riseborough and Severance's Tramell Tillman. Several commenters are glad to see Grint on screen again, and one popular joke has Ron working for Grindelwald, the wizard Depp played in the Fantastic Beasts films. The film opens in theaters on November 13.
It was not the channel's only good day. A Street Fighter featurette on bringing the game's special moves to life picked up speed ahead of that film's October 16 release, and the trailer for The Rescue, with Brandon Sklenar as a former rodeo cowboy, passed ten million views.

@Rasim9898See it on YouTubeI like how this actually looks like it's going for what Dickens intended to do with A Christmas Carol and make it a scary story.
