Dakota Johnson, Anne Hathaway and a closet tour as Verity opens Friday
Three clips and a costume featurette for the Colleen Hoover thriller share the week with a 1975 Sam Peckinpah trailer and a young Leonardo DiCaprio.

Amazon MGM Studios spent the days before Verity's Friday release filling its channel with the film. Fifteen uploads went up, and the ones drawing the most are all from the adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling thriller, with Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, the writer hired to finish another author's books, and Anne Hathaway as Verity Crawford, the author whose unread pages start to matter.
"So Be It" has gathered the most views so far, just over 50,000, but the newest clip, "Resting Bored Face," is moving fastest. In that one Lowen is billed as a little hard to read, and Josh Hartnett's Jeremy Crawford is the one trying. In between came "Inside Verity's Closet," in which costume designer Jacqueline Demeterio and Hathaway walk through every look in the film.
The studio's deep library kept its own slow corner of the week. A trailer for The Killer Elite, Sam Peckinpah's 1975 thriller with James Caan and Robert Duvall, went up with a clip, and so did a scene from The Basketball Diaries, the 1995 Jim Carroll adaptation starring a young Leonardo DiCaprio.
The channel as a whole is drawing roughly half again as many daily views as usual. Among the studio channels nearest it in size, Warner Bros. Classics and Paramount Movies are also busier than normal, while A24 is running below its usual pace.
