The New York Post has published surveillance footage showing how a security guard confronted a gunman inside a Citibank campus in Tampa, after a woman was fatally shot outside.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister narrates the sequence, describing threats made over a $2,500 debt before the attacker drove into a courtyard gate. The Post identifies the woman killed as Leanne Selman. The report includes graphic footage of the shooting.
Inside the building, hallway cameras show a security officer taking position in a restroom doorway as the gunman enters the cafeteria. The Post identifies the guard as John Fraley, a Marine Corps veteran. Chronister says Fraley shot the attacker, who later died at Tampa General Hospital.
The report drew an estimated 1.6 million views in its first day, far beyond the channel's usual start for regular videos. A separate Short featuring the same incident also drew an unusually large audience for that format.
The video combines courtyard, hallway and cafeteria surveillance with police body-camera footage showing officers arriving and employees evacuating the campus.
