Spanish football authorities postponed fixtures including matches after striker died following an on-field collision, South Korea's Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) reports.

The footage shows two players pursuing an airborne ball before colliding and falling to the turf. One remains motionless as others rush toward him. The report says a red card was issued and the match was suspended.

According to the broadcaster, De Miguel collided with the opposing goalkeeper during a match on November 2. He received emergency treatment on the pitch and was taken to a hospital, where he died the following day.

Citing Reuters, the report says police are investigating the possibility of involuntary manslaughter. It presents that as an ongoing investigation, not a finding of criminal responsibility.

The segment closes with supporters gathering outside the stadium to pay tribute. The issued a condolence statement and postponed all fixtures scheduled for November 3, including the Copa del Rey, according to the report.
