A two-year-old short film, 'When You Show Up Too Early To A Party...', finds Liam Dowling's crowd
The description admits it was made two years ago, and viewers under it are asking for more horror-tinged films like it, plus a gambling-mate sketch.

When You Show Up Too Early To A Party...
Liam Dowling, who sums himself up in four words on his channel ("I'm Dowlo"), reached into the drawer for his first upload of the week. "When You Show Up Too Early To A Party..." is, by his own description, another short film he and his friends made two years ago, and it plays less like a quick sketch than a small piece of eerie cinema.
That is exactly what the comments are about. Dowling himself asks whether people are into the higher-effort stuff, and the answers pile up: jokes that the budget went up, one viewer who says it turned into a horror movie, a long appreciation of the lighting and the static hum of the silence, and requests for more. Someone even suggests finishing an older series as a full horror film. Not everyone is converted; one viewer wishes the same effort went into the podcast.
It has passed 130,000 views. The second upload, "Your Mate Who's Addicted To Gambling...," is back to the familiar mate-sketch format, billed as the worst kind of mate, and two days in it is already drawing more views per day than the party film.
Together they lifted the channel well above its usual daily pace, though subscribers held at 437,000. Among similar sketch channels, phoebeisginger is having the big week, adding tens of thousands of subscribers, while Chrisnxtdoor, level with Dowling in size, stayed quiet.
