When Airsofter Tries Hiding From Enemies…
The plan in AirHard's newest hit is simple: tuck yourself out of sight and let the other team walk past. It does not survive contact with gravity. The player in "When Airsofter Tries Hiding From Enemies…" struggles to keep himself upright, gives himself away, and the opposing players finish the job with a kick that the comment section keeps replaying.
The clip itself was filmed by someone else. Like most of what AirHard posts, it is footage from another player, here credited to the Instagram account prosperpro86, cut and framed in the channel's own style. A new Short on the channel usually ends its first day somewhere around ten thousand views. This one passed five million in its first 24 hours and has kept going since.
The comments came in much faster than usual, and they share one main thought: had he stayed still and let himself drop, nobody would have found him. Several viewers bring up Solid Snake, the Metal Gear hero famous for hiding in plain sight, and note that this hiding spot is used up for good now. Others joke that the muzzle flash looks a little too real for plastic pellets.
It lands in the middle of an unusually busy stretch for AirHard. "When Airsofter Outsmarts Enemy…." crossed two million views, the grenade clip from a few days earlier passed a million, and older uploads like "When Airsofter Buys A Glock 17…" are drawing far more views than usual again. Over the past week the channel added about 10,000 subscribers.
