When John Wick Tries Airsoft…
"When John Wick Tries Airsoft…" is the newest hit on AirHard. The channel takes airsoft clips filmed by other players, cuts them in its own style and adds commentary. The title borrows Keanu Reeves's hitman, whose films are built on close-range fights where he takes weapons out of his opponents' hands. On its first day the short came close to two million views, far more than a new upload here usually gets.
The title does not say who filmed it, so the comments do most of the explaining. Viewers keep coming back to a moment at a corner where a rifle ends up in pieces. The most liked reply jokes that the player left with a fine and a permanent ban. Others say the rifle's takedown pin was already open before anyone touched it, and they read the whole thing as a skit staged for laughs. A few players use it as a lesson: don't let your barrel poke past the corner you're hiding behind. The comment section filled many times faster than on a usual first day here.
The rest of the channel is busy too. The grenade-catching "Spidey Senses" clip, as we reported here, has since passed 19 million views. "When Airsofter Buys A Glock 17…" was posted in September with credit to the airsoft retailer Evike, and it is picking up views again at many times its normal daily pace. AirHard has not paused either: two more "When Airsofter…" shorts have gone up since John Wick.
