"I Forgot The CANDY!" is a premise anyone who has answered the door on October 31 will recognize: the costumes arrive, and there is nothing to hand out. BolingBros, the trio of real-life brothers CJ, Brody and Dylan, who post a new skit almost every day, played it for maximum chaos, and it went up on October 6, comfortably early for the season.

It reached about 577,000 views in a little over a day. A Short here usually ends its first day somewhere under 90,000. The skits on either side of it tell the same story: "What We're Known For…" sits near 108,000, "Bro Is An UNC!" from the same day is around 61,000, and the newer ones have not passed 25,000.

The comment section has settled on one moment. Viewers keep quoting a drawn-out "NOOOOO" and the fall that follows it, which one calls cartoonish and others simply call dramatic. A few say they own the same costume, and several notice a Spider-Man suit in the cast.

One viewer remembers a real neighbor who forgot the candy and handed over a whole box of cookies instead. Another sums up the whole skit in three words: literally their parents.

The channel as a whole is running a little under its usual daily pace, which makes this one Short stand out all the more.
