"Did I make it awkward?" and fourteen more questions from the Wu's World cast

Every new Short on the behind-the-scenes clips channel arrives as a question, and the newest passed 23,000 views in under a day.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"Did I make it awkward?" is the newest Short on Wu's World Top Videos, the side channel that promises more adventures with the Wu's World cast and their behind-the-scenes shenanigans. Less than a day after it went up, it had already passed 23,000 views, more than any other video on the channel is drawing right now.

It is one of fifteen uploads over the week, and they all speak the same language: a short question and a #wusworld tag. "Should I be nice?" went up the same day and is the second busiest at the moment. Before them came "Could you win?", "Which are you?" and "Why does she act like this?" The titles keep their answers to themselves, which seems to be the idea: you have to press play to find out.

The week's most watched upload is "Are you like this?" from October 4, at about 26,000 views. Its small comment section is mostly hellos, one fan greeting Thomas by name, and a viewer asking whether anyone else sees the Shorts come through blurry.

The channel as a whole ran slower than its usual pace, and subscribers moved only a little, settling at 411,000. Among the comedy sketch channels around its size, the big weeks belonged to phoebeisginger and Cheap Noodle, while Liam Dowling also ran ahead of his usual. Even so, a new Wu's World question still finds its first crowd quickly.
