"Is His Mustang GT Worth THIS Much?!" George J Saliba's viewers name their own price
On a lot better known for Lamborghinis and Ferraris, a haggle over a Ford pony car drew a comment section full of amateur appraisers.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 482,401 views a day, 8.4 times a normal first day on this channel (57,333).
Is His Mustang GT Worth THIS Much?!
George J Saliba runs a car-buying business in Ewing, New Jersey, and his channel is mostly the negotiation: a seller arrives, a number gets said out loud, and somebody is unhappy with it. In the past two days alone that meant a Lamborghini he wonders whether he should have bought, an old Ferrari and a Huracan with a driver too tall for it.
The one that pulled ahead was a Mustang GT. Posted twelve hours ago, "Is His Mustang GT Worth THIS Much?!" is already near a third of a million views, several times what his Shorts usually reach in a full day.
The comment section moved even faster than the views. It collected more than three times as many comments in half a day as one of his Shorts usually gets in its entire first day. Nearly all of them are about one question: the number. Going by the comments, the seller asks for a number, the offer lands somewhere in the mid-thirties, and he has his heart set closer to forty. Viewers have done their own math. Many point to the miles already on the car, and some argue that modifications rarely add to a resale price. A smaller group defends the seller, saying GTs hold their value better than people think. A few also note that a dealer offer is never the same as a private sale.
What almost nobody argues about is the buyer's side. Several viewers single out how calmly the offer is held, without anyone raising their voice.
