- 8:52The Switch-style handheld has loud fixed volume, mushy controls and dummy buttons.
- 10:10The PSP-style device offers a large screen but fewer emulation options than the ArkOS handheld.
- 11:08Testing the R40 and R36S reveals file-system and game-saving problems with their supplied memory cards.
Dawid buys a bag of handheld consoles and finds that the cheapest-looking gaming adventure isn't necessarily the worst. In "I Bought Every Temu Handheld Gaming Console...", his only new upload this week, the results range from unresponsive buttons to genuinely enjoyable retro emulation.
The R36H successfully runs Crash Bandicoot through PlayStation emulation. A Switch-shaped device, meanwhile, offers mushy controls, dummy buttons and an insistently loud volume. The vertical R40 and R36S bring more promising hardware, but the supplied memory cards introduce file-system and saving problems. Getting a game running and keeping your progress turn out to be separate tests.
The little "Block Game Good Memories" handheld supplies an unexpected dose of nostalgia. Dawid struggles to see or control its game, while commenters remember nearly identical devices from childhood. Others suggest trying fresh batteries, and the familiar Nokia-style battery in another console gets its own affectionate recognition.
The haul reached roughly 135,000 views in its first fourteen hours and is the channel's busiest video right now. Behind it, "This Alienware Cost $6000 A Decade Ago..." keeps drawing viewers to an old high-end PC bought secondhand, while the modified AliExpress RTX 3080 video remains active well after publication.
Across the channel, the week brought more than a million views with no net subscriber change. Daily viewing is above Dawid's usual level; nearby tech channels TheUnlockr and Smart Home Solver are also above their normal daily pace, while Matt Talks Tech and PC Centric are quieter than usual. For Dawid, the fresh attraction is a shopping experiment where some of the cheap hardware actually earns its place.
