Thread, scissors and vintage patterns fill Curiosity Incorporated's abandoned locker
The antique reseller's newest storage unit turned out to belong to a crafter, and its comment section has become a sewing circle with opinions.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 60,099 views a day, 29 times a normal first day on this channel (2,072).
We bought an abandoned storage locker! What's inside! Eco Flow Delta 3
Most of the collectibles channels closest to Curiosity Incorporated in size are running below their usual pace right now, and the antique reseller's own channel is no exception. One video is. "We bought an abandoned storage locker! What's inside! Eco Flow Delta 3" passed 41,000 views in its first twelve hours, where a new longer upload here usually ends a whole day near 2,000.
The description keeps it short: a dig through estate boxes, with some surprises promised. Judging by the comments, the surprise is what the boxes held. This was a crafter's locker, full of spools of thread, scissors, quilting supplies and vintage paper sewing patterns. Several viewers point out that much of it looks new.
People who sew have turned the comment section into an appraisal desk. They name thread brands, note how hard paper patterns are to find these days, and wonder where the sewing machines went, since the threads seem to call for at least two. One guesses that the owner sold her work at craft fairs. Another finds it sad that someone so skilled had to let it all go.
Above all, viewers talk about Melissa. Comment after comment brings up how much she seems to enjoy this unit, and one asks how much of it she will actually let go to the resale pile.
Barely a week after the basement boxes ran far past usual, as we reported here, this haul got off to an even faster start. Alongside it, the channel kept posting Shorts: Antigua's gold and silver banknotes, a bucket of old coins and arrowheads, and a railway-grade Waltham pocket watch hiding inside an ugly outer case.

Crafting and quilting supplies may look deceptively inexpensive but these are very expensive. Great find! 😊
