MrBeast 2's '$10,000 or Feastables?' baby test reaches 100 million views
Posted on July 1, the Short that set a whole cash-or-chocolate series in motion crossed the line in its 99th day, and its comments are still explaining the baby's choice.
Why this story? The channel passed the 100,000,000 views mark.
Would A Baby Choose $10,000 or Feastables?
The question in the title is a simple one: "Would A Baby Choose $10,000 or Feastables?" Put a stack of money and a pack of MrBeast's own chocolate in front of someone too young to know what either is, and see which way the hand goes. Ninety-nine days after it went up, that small experiment has passed 100 million views.
It has also turned into a template. Cash against chocolate has come back on the channel since, most recently in "$100 Or Feastables?" at the end of September, which is already past 20 million views on its own. The baby version came first, and it is still drawing a crowd long after most Shorts have gone quiet.
The comment section has settled on a theory of its own. Plenty of viewers say the answer was never really about sweets: a brightly colored wrapper simply beats a pile of plain green bills when you are that young. Others joke about whether the baby understood the question at all, and a running thread watches the grown-ups in the room, who are trying to look delighted at the choice.
The moment has come at a quieter stretch for the second channel, which is running at roughly half its usual daily pace. Most of the big challenge channels closest to it in size, from Dude Perfect to Jesser and Jordan Matter, are slower than usual too. That makes a fresh nine-figure count on a three-month-old Short stand out all the more for MrBeast 2.
