Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Alex came home. The family's 24-year-old son is back in town from Colorado, and "He IS BACK... Our Son's 24th Birthday Special" is the week's celebration, made by a big blended family whose about page describes a home built through adoption, foster care and second chances.

The rest of the week was less festive. The first upload, "Our House Is Falling Apart.. (She Is So SICK)", mixes repairs around the house with a trip to the emergency room for one of the daughters. It became the most watched upload of the week, and its comments split between get-well wishes and home-improvement talk. Viewers enjoyed watching Aaron handle the fixes himself and seeing grandma in the vlog, and one gently suggested safety glasses. Then came news that another daughter needs knee surgery, scheduled soon. That video is only a few days old and is already drawing more viewers each day than anything else from the week.

In between, the fall bucket list began with a visit to Spirit Halloween. The description says the baby was scared at first and then got over it.

The homecoming that keeps returning is an older one: "Bringing BABY Home From Hospital!!", now twenty days old, still draws more viewers each day than any of the new videos.

The channel is running well below its usual daily pace, and the subscriber count held steady at about a million. Even so, its roughly seven million views for the week put it third among similar family channels, behind Theheartbreaksfamily and Christi Fritz. Roll with Cole & Charisma and CRAZY MIDDLES are both running above their usual pace.
