Cleared Hot keeps finding its best material in what happens between the missions. Andy Stumpf, the former Navy SEAL who hosts the podcast, posted a clip called "Delta Operator's Shenanigans 🤣". It had nearly 120,000 views within 18 hours, close to ten times what a Short here usually gathers on its first day.
The title promises antics, and the comments fill in the picture. Viewers talk about loot, a costume, a sword and a bit of plundering. Several joke that this is what "Tier 1" humor looks like, the shorthand for the military's top special operations units. One reads the whole thing as a way of keeping sane far from home.
The longest-running joke is about the captions. The on-screen subtitles spell the operator's name as "Brant", other viewers point out that this is wrong, and the misspelling has become a small meme of its own.
The clip shares the day with another Short. "You Always Need A Beanie 🤣", posted on October 1, has gone past a million views.
