Unc Says Eagles Won’t CARE About Jalen Hurts Past Success if Philly Keeps LOSING! | Nightcap
Shannon Sharpe picked a subject guaranteed to get Philadelphia talking. In "Unc Says Eagles Won't CARE About Jalen Hurts Past Success if Philly Keeps LOSING!", he argues that the quarterback's résumé will not shield him forever if the losses keep coming, and he points to a contract that, as the description puts it, carries no guaranteed money after 2026. That résumé includes the Super Bowl MVP award from the Eagles' win over Kansas City in February 2025.
Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson takes the other side. He wants Philly's injuries counted and expects Hurts to quiet the critics. "Iso" Joe Johnson sits in as the third voice.
The views were ordinary for the show. The comments were not. More than a thousand arrived in the first day, roughly six times what a regular Nightcap episode draws. The thread with the most replies predicts that Nick Sirianni will be gone before Hurts is. Eagles fans explain why they protect their quarterback: they say he got little credit when the team was winning. Others debate whether Saquon Barkley has been the same since his 2,000-yard season and whether A.J. Brown still looks like himself. Plenty of viewers just enjoy Unc arguing with his live chat, sniffles included.
Philadelphia was not finished as a topic. Two days later the show was back on the Eagles, this time reacting to the team trading center Cam Jurgens to the Ravens.

@alexdewayne9392See it on YouTubeThe reason Eagles fans are sensitive to Jalen's critics is because when he was playing well, he didn't get the credit. He was told he was being carried by his team around him but he wasn't that good. Now that his team around him is falling apart, critics are going extreme. So yes, we feel that we're the only ones who truly ever supported our QB through the good and bad.
