Chevrolet takes the Silverado ZR2 into the desert
Baja mode, underbody cameras and suspension hardware feature in the brand's only new upload.

This Truck Was Made to Race
The dust flies quickly. Chevrolet's only upload this week, "This Truck Was Made to Race," sends a Silverado ZR2 race truck across rocky desert terrain, with brief stops to show what is happening beneath it.
This is a Chevrolet promotional video, filmed with a professional driver on a closed course. The edit moves from selecting Baja mode to front and rear underbody camera views, then a tire-and-suspension inspection as the crew refuels. Jounce control dampers get their close-up before the truck heads back into the dust.
The clip has collected roughly 4,800 views. In the comments, the conversation turns toward what might reach the driveway: viewers ask about a V8, request supercharging and wonder about road-going versions. One has a more practical cargo question: could a small boat fit in the bed?
Away from the desert, "Top 5 Things the New Silverado Screens Can Do" is the channel's busiest upload by daily views, narrowly above the race-truck clip. September's "The Science Behind Chevy's Next-Gen V8" remains close behind, giving the Silverado's screens, suspension and engines each a place in the week's viewing.
The channel added about 1,000 subscribers over the week, a modest increase that matches Cadillac's gain among nearby motoring channels. Chevrolet's newest viewing invitation, though, is less about cabin comforts than seeing the truck's hardware work over rough ground.
