Daniel Radcliffe Deserves an Oscar for Not Laughing at Adam Driver 😭 | What If (2013)

"Can I talk to you about something?" Daniel Radcliffe asks. Adam Driver's character has a plate of nachos and an extravagant announcement to make first.

The kitchen exchange comes from the 2013 romantic comedy What If, and Eggdar's excerpt has passed two million views. Five days after it was posted, its daily views have climbed to roughly ten times its usual pace.

Driver sits down and declares that he's enjoying the greatest moment of his life. Radcliffe gives him a quiet look. It's the contrast between that stillness and Driver's enormous delivery that Eggdar builds its joke around, framing the pair as Harry Potter and Kylo Ren sharing a room. This is a scene from the film, not a behind-the-scenes outtake showing either actor breaking character.

Viewers keep comparing Driver's delivery to Nicolas Cage. Others pick out the oven-mitt toss, likening it to a hockey goalie dropping a glove, or imagine Driver playing Snape opposite Radcliffe. The familiar franchise roles have become a second layer of comedy around a much smaller, nacho-centered encounter.

Eggdar's other movie moment reaching a milestone today is its Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves excerpt from The Devil's Advocate, which has passed ten million views. As we reported here, that clip prompted its own close reading: Eggdar saw Pacino mouthing a word, while viewers saw a serpent-like gesture.
