Poker Player PREDICTS THE FUTURE 🔮 #poker #casino #pokerhands
World Poker Tour has reached a million subscribers, with a particularly uneasy pair of aces helping mark the occasion. In a fast-starting Short from its television archive, Vanessa Rousso gets poker's strongest starting hand and still sounds convinced she is about to lose.
Kimberly Lansing, short on chips, moves all-in with queen-jack. Rousso finds pocket aces in the big blind and calls. A jack on the flop gives Lansing a pair, but she still needs help. She even appeals to commentators Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten: "Mike and Vince, help me out."
Rousso's concern is more specific. "It's a weird thing, I just know she's going to get it," she tells the table. Then a queen arrives, putting Lansing ahead with two pair. The final king leaves that lead intact, and Lansing doubles her chips.
The title bills this as predicting the future, but Rousso also offers a poker explanation: the other players folded so quickly that she thought the high cards were still available. Viewers are discussing that reasoning, along with her attempt to contain a smile when she first sees her aces.
The replay drew roughly 160,000 views in its first day, more than ten times the channel's usual Shorts start. A separate Daniel Negreanu all-in clip is also drawing an unusually quick audience. Here, though, the memorable line belongs to the player whose aces didn't hold: "You just know sometimes."
