- 2:20Reid explains how left-hand drive complicates overtaking on British roads.
- 3:44He reverses through a drive-thru to bring the driver's window alongside the service windows.

- 20:00Reid finds the truck poorly suited to British roads but remains enthusiastic about its appeal.
The collection-window worker spots the problem: "You've come the wrong way..." Rory Reid has reversed a Rivian R1T through a McDonald's drive-thru, finding an unconventional solution to having the steering wheel on the wrong side for the window.
It's the most memorable practicality test in Autotrader's only new upload this week. The automotive marketplace's review features an imported truck listed for sale on its own site, but the central question is broader: how comfortably does an American electric pickup fit into British life?
Village streets, parallel parking and overtaking give Reid plenty to consider before he reaches the clever storage. A lockable gear tunnel and built-in air compressor make the adventure-truck brief tangible. His verdict keeps both sides in view: the size doesn't really suit the roads, yet he wants to see more electric pickups around.
The review reached about 81,000 views in its first fifteen hours and is the channel's strongest daily draw. Viewers are discussing the difference between American and British ideas of a manageable truck, asking for right-hand drive and correcting the dashboard assessment: several point out that the wood is real.
Autotrader added roughly 1.2 million views across the week, with subscribers unchanged. Its daily viewing is currently below its usual level, while Edison Motors is enjoying a busier-than-normal spell and 1A Auto is close to its customary rhythm.
Beyond the Rivian, Reid's BMW X5 review remains active, examining space, technology and handling. The Lotus Emira 420 Sport track outing supplies a different pleasure: a mid-engined petrol sports car, with an AMG engine, on a channel whose newest arrival runs on batteries.

I love how this is a mid size truck in US not even a full size.
@joelcarlson8982See it on YouTubeThe easiest size comparison that we can understand in the UK is that it's about the same footprint as a Ford Transit ... and those do manage to spend their lives working in cities so it's not impossible but (hopefully) not a size that anyone would normally choose!
@MrAdopadoSee it on YouTubeI saw one (that one?) driving round the North of Scotland back in August, while doing the NC500.
