The playlist stays secret, but the exchange is getting plenty of attention. Call Her Daddy's Short "Jennifer on music" has drawn about 60,000 views in fourteen hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for Shorts. Separate excerpts about motherhood and Silver Linings Playbook are also making unusually fast starts.

Cooper opens with a question about people posting their year-end Spotify Wrapped summaries. Lawrence finds that level of musical disclosure uncomfortable. Her own listening habits are less about discovery: "I listen to the same three songs. I don't know how to find new music."

That makes Cooper's follow-up both obvious and unsuccessful. Lawrence will explain the habit, just not identify the songs.

The conversation then turns to being asked about music on dates, which earns a groan and a "Check, please." Lawrence says her old answer was that she liked good examples of everything. But that broad-minded position has an exception: "I really, I cannot stand the sound of a saxophone."
