Jennifer Lawrence has a practical objection to the idea that she arranges her own paparazzi pictures: she says she doesn't even know how to drop a pin.

In Call Her Daddy's Short "Jennifer on paparazzi", she tells Alex Cooper that photographers knowing where to find her is a much simpler explanation than an elaborate photo opportunity involving mismatched socks and a messy bun. She isn't inviting them, she says, and the pictures don't help her career.

Her preferred publicity strategy sounds rather less exhausting. "You know what would help my career? Anonymity. Mystique."

Cooper reassures Lawrence that she isn't someone she suspects of calling photographers. Then Lawrence nearly undoes her own argument for privacy by starting to mention her building. A bleep and a visual censor intervene, and both women burst out laughing as Cooper mimes censoring the slip.

The clip has drawn about 62,000 views in fifteen hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short. It's not the only Lawrence excerpt getting an unusually brisk start: "Jennifer on the Hunger Games" and "Jennifer on her nickname 'JLaw'" have also drawn substantially more viewing than the channel's typical Shorts.

Among the comments, one viewer makes a connection Lawrence's choice of words practically invites: hearing her say "Mystique" brings back her blue-skinned, yellow-eyed X-Men character.
