A Christmas baking era in October, and fifteen uploads of business talk for Amy Landino

The bestselling author of Good Morning, Good Life spent her week on clients, pricing and visibility, then baked bread on camera.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"This is how I entered my baking era 🎄" is a vlog with a Christmas tree in its title, posted in the first week of October on Amy Landino's channel. It is the video moving fastest there right now, and nothing else she posted comes close. The description is a cheerful inventory: gold holiday card frames (sold out), bread bags stamped Homemade With Love, gray loungewear, and a new full-size mirror she admits she forgot to show.

The rest of her week was all business. Fifteen uploads went up, most of them short lessons for the ambitious women she coaches: how to let a client go, how to become known for your work rather than just good at it, why five clients does not have to mean five-client pricing. The newest, on turning client work into content, also promises a live event in Ohio on November 5.

The most watched of the new uploads is "You Get To Make The Rules (as long as you follow them)", which passed 6,000 views. Its comments read like letters: a new mother planning to journal her own "no list", a retiree after 37 years of work wondering what to change, someone rethinking what home means after years of caregiving.

The channel ran a little above its usual daily pace, while subscribers stayed close to half a million. Among self-improvement channels near her size, Brendon Burchard is having the big week, well over three times his normal pace, while Captain Sinbad runs quiet.

  • Thanks for this, Amy. I'm a new mother, with a 7 month old, and I'm trying to get some order back in my life. This really spoke to me. I think I'll spend some time journaling on my "no list" today and see if that helps me with some standards (rather than seeing them as goals/habits!). Cheers ❤
